FAQ

Straight answers. It's kind of our thing.

Everything ISOs ask us, answered the way we'd say it on the phone.

Is Mint actually direct?
Yes. We fund from our own balance sheet, our underwriters work for Mint, and our contracts are signed with us and serviced by us. There's no funder list behind the curtain — which is exactly why your paper can't be shopped.
How fast is 'fast', really?
Clean packages — signed one-page application plus four months of bank statements — get a decision in about an hour. Contracts go out to your merchant the same day as the yes, and the wire goes out the same day they sign.
How do commissions work?
You're paid on every funded deal and on every renewal from merchants you brought in. Runs go out every Monday with a statement that matches your math. Figures are shared at onboarding — we don't publish them publicly.
Will you ever go around me to my merchant?
No — and it's in the partnership terms in writing. We contact your merchant only to move the deal you submitted: underwriting calls, contracts, funding. We never market to your book, and renewals are credited to you.
What's the box?
Advances from $10K to $3M, buy rates from 1.30, any position under 35% total leverage, all 50 states including Texas. Debit schedules daily, weekly, or bi-weekly. If a file is close to the edge, call before you assume.
What does a complete package look like?
A signed one-page application, the four most recent bank statements (every page), an honest position rundown with balances, and payoff letters if a position is being bought out. Complete packages start the one-hour clock immediately.
What's a buy rate — and how do I quote it?
The multiple applied to the funded amount. At a 1.30 buy rate, a $100,000 advance means $130,000 in total receivables purchased. One number, no hidden math — quote it straight and the deal holds together at signing.
Why would Mint approve a file other funders bounced?
Because we underwrite differently. Our sweet spot is a good, clean merchant with good pay history in 2nd, 3rd, or 4th position — and we read any file inside the 35% leverage box, tough industries and bruised credit included. A decline elsewhere often just means a committee never actually read the file.
Will my merchant's statements get shopped around?
No. Statements go to Mint's underwriting team and nowhere else. We're direct — there's no funder list to blast a file to. It's reviewed here and it stays here.
How do renewals work for me?
As the balance debits down, the merchant can re-up — often at a better buy rate. Every renewal from your book is credited to you, and it lands on the same Monday run.
Do I need volume to get onboarded?
No. Your first submission gets a dedicated ISO rep — one name and a cell number. No minimums — send one file or fifty.
What gets a file declined?
Fake revenue, undisclosed positions, leverage past the box, and statements that don't match the story. An honest hard file beats a polished fiction every time — and if it's a no, we tell you why in plain words so you can place it elsewhere fast.
